I was burning with fever. I was shaking all over. The migraine was back and drilling holes into my brain, and to top it off. I couldn't keep any food down. My body seemed to be fighting against something. but I still didn't know what....

"Alternate Reality" is the sixth chapter in Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy. It can be played as the seventh or eighth chapter of the game, depending on the player's choice during gameplay.

Synopsis[]

Lucas decides to go to work despite what happened last night. However he is still plagued with an uneasy feeling.

After regurgitating in the bathroom, Lucas tries to work he realizes he has new powers and is haunted by visions, like when hears Warren's thoughts of calling Lucas weird, when he has a premonition of Warren spilling a coffee cup before it happens, or when he sees "murderer" written on his computer screen.

Warren receives a call that one of the stations is down and will need to be repaired, so Lucas volunteers to fix it. Once done, Lucas hallucinates giant dust mite like creatures that terrorize the office and attempt to kill him. Lucas successfully evades the mounters, but he is cornered by the elevator. Lucas then sees the corpse of John Winston telling him about a serpent that resides between our world and the "Other-world". Warren awakens Lucas, stating that he was freaking out. Lucas decides to leave, worried about what is in store for him next.

There is a crucifix (extra life) in the right drawer of Lucas' desk.

Game Over[]

  • If Lucas fails to conquer his vision, he will have a seizure while being tended to by Warren and some workers, who call an ambulance.
