"Alternate Reality" is the sixth chapter in Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy. It can be played as the seventh or eighth chapter of the game, depending on the player's choice during gameplay.

Synopsis[]

Despite the unsettling events of the previous night, Lucas decides to go to work but is plagued by an uneasy feeling. After experiencing nausea in the bathroom, he discovers he has developed new powers and begins to have haunting visions. He hears Warren's thoughts, has a premonition of Warren spilling coffee, and sees the word "murderer" appear on his computer screen.

When Warren receives a call about a malfunctioning station, Lucas volunteers to fix it. After completing the task, he hallucinates giant dust mite-like creatures that terrorize the office. Although he manages to evade them, he finds himself cornered by the elevator and encounters the corpse of John Winston, who warns him about a serpent that exists between their world and the "Other-world." Warren then awakens Lucas, who is in a state of panic. Concerned about what lies ahead, Lucas decides to leave the office.
