"Final Countdown" is forty-second and penultimate chapter of Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy.
Synopsis[]
After refueling the self-propelled crawler, Lucas heads from the Underground Secret Base to the Wishita Military Base, with Carla.
Left alone, he prepares to fight against the Oracle, member of the Orange Clan and the A.I, member of the Purple Clan, whom want to listen to Jade's final message, so to obtain a power beyond imagination.
Lucas and Jade[]
Lucas takes Jade inside the hanger. The Oracle had been waiting for a long time, and Lucas and he soon had a battle. Eventually Lucas managed to shoot Oracle down into the chroma pool to beat him. Oracle's soldiers then shot at Lucas, who shot back and killed them. And A.I shows up in front of Lucas(If Lucas is hit by a soldier, the A.I appears and kills the soldiers and stun Carla to face Lucas alone). A.I tries to take over Jade by controlling Lucas, but Lucas manages to resist A.I's mind control and instead kills Ai. Lucas places Jade on the altar and hears her prophecy.
If Lucas is defeated by Oracle, Carla goes inside the hanger because she's worried about Lucas. She managed to stun one of the soldiers and use a pistol to kill Oracle. Lucas wakes up and takes care of the soldiers. If Carla fails to kill Oracle, Oracle will hear Jade's prophecy.
If Lucas doesn't get out of A.I's control, the A.I will hear Jade's prophecy instead.
A.I and Jade[]
A.I takes Jade inside the hanger and Lucas arrives later. A.I tries to control Lucas, but the latter manages to resist and instead kills him. Oracle kidnapped Carla and demanded that Lucas give up Jade. Lucas refuses to give up Jade, and Carla manages to break free and kill Oracle with a pistol. Lucas places Jade on the altar and hears her prophecy. If Carla doesn't break free, Oracle lets Carla go and fights Lucas. Lucas eventually beat Oracle to the bottom of the chroma pool and heard Jade's prediction.
If Lucas is controlled by an A.I, Oracle appears and fights the A.I. Carla came to the hanger because she was worried about Lucas. After waking Lucas, A.I kills Oracle. Lucas wakes up, kills A.I with his own power, and hears Jade's prophecy.
If Lucas agrees to give up Jade or is defeated by Oracle in battle, Oracle stuns both Carla and Lucas and hears Jade's prophecy.
If Carla fails to wake Lucas, or if Lucas wakes up and fails to kill A.I, he will hear Jade's prophecy on behalf of A.I.
Oracle and Jade[]
Lucas got inside the hanger before Oracle put Jade on the altar. Whether Lucas stuns a soldier with an iron rod, kills a soldier with force, or is discovered by a soldier, Oracle is aware of Lucas' presence and orders the soldier to shoot him, although he later discovers that Lucas can not be shot. After that, it was the same as "Lucas and Jade".
Outcome[]

There are three possible endings, which will depend on whether Lucas—thus the player—succeeds in defeating both the Oracle and the A.I, or whether he will succumb to one or the other.
