Sir, my brother and some other kids are in hangar 4 and it's going to burn. You've got to go help them, please!

– Young Lucas to a military base guard

"Hide and Seek" is the tenth chapter in Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy.

Synopsis[]

On the 10th anniversary of their parents' deaths, Lucas and Markus Kane visit their parents' grave to pay their respects. After laying down flowers, Lucas experiences a flashback to their childhood at the Wishita Military Base. In this memory, a young Lucas sits alone while Markus and other kids discuss what game to play. Despite Markus's attempts to persuade him to join, Lucas prefers solitude. The group ultimately decides to play hide-and-seek in the off-limits Hangar 4, leaving Lucas behind.

Shortly after, Lucas has a premonition of the hangar exploding, which would kill the group of children. The player must navigate a timed challenge to save as many kids as possible. Lucas successfully saves Markus and any other children he can convince to leave the hangar before the explosion. Afterward, Markus questions Lucas about how he knew the hangar would explode. Lucas explains that he had a premonition, but Markus doubts anyone would believe him.

In the present, Markus encourages Lucas to seek help from Agatha, suggesting she may have the answers he needs.
