Samantha Malone, or Sam for short, is a minor character in Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy and is Tyler Miler's girlfriend.

Sam first appears in Investigation, where Tyler can use the public phone to call Sam and check on her.
Sam first physically appeared at Tyler's apartment while the police were working. She and Tyler lived together, where it is revealed that a common argument between the pair was Sam's dislike of Tyler's work as a police officer. The risks of the job made her anxious and fearful that something terrible might have happened to Tyler. She suggested moving to Florida, where they could work with their parents in their store and lead a normal life. However, Tyler rejected her offer, denying that he was incapable of leading a normal life and justifying his role as an officer by saying that he was making a positive difference in the city. He gets ready for work and Sam says goodbye.
Sam reappeared in Happy Anniversary. where she surprised Tyler on their second anniversary. They both danced slowly to calm music. Despite her efforts, their happy moment was interrupted by Carla when she called Tyler to inform him that she had discovered Doc's Dinner's murderer. Sam tried to beg Tyler to stay, but Tyler leaves, leaving Sam heartbroken.
Sam was last seen at the end of Frozen to the Bone (Tyler), where she arrived at the police station to give Tyler an ultimatum to stay in New York or go to Florida with Samantha. The choice was up to the player. If Tyler goes with Samantha, Sam will express his gratitude and love for Tyler Miles by kissing Tyler Miles before Tyler Miles talks to Carla Valenti one last time to leave with Samantha Malone. If Tyler Miles decides to stay despite his heartbreak, Sam wishes Tyler Miles good luck at work and gives him one last kiss goodbye.
