"The Day After" is the third chapter in Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy.
Synopsis[]
Nearly eight hours have passed since John Winston's murder at Doc's Diner.
Lucas Kane wakes from the events of the previous night and tends to the marks on his forearms, made with the same knife he used to kill Winston. A sense of foreboding washes over him; he senses that a policeman is about to knock on his door for a security check, prompted by noise complaints from neighbors. In a rush, he hides his blood-stained clothes within the apartment.
